Itinerary:

23 November 2019, Saturday (Morning break, lunch and dinner)

7.00 am           gather at Avenue Crest, Seksyen 22, Shah Alam.

7.30 am           depart to Kuala Gandah. Enroute toilet stop and quick breakfast at Genting Sempah R&R.

9.30 am           Upon arrival, morning break is included & briefing

10.00 am         Start trekking

11.00 am         Preparation & begin cooking in bamboo (lunch Orang Asli style)

12.30 pm         End of trekking and check in to accommodation

1.30 pm           Proceed to video gallery for video show on elephant rescue operations by Perhilitan (Malaysia Wildlife Department)

2.00 pm           Activities with the elephants (elephant feeding, elephant show)

Elephant Bathing Session

 

3.00 pm           Bathing with baby elephant (optional – RM10/adult, RM5/child)

4.00 pm           Afternoon tea. Free & easy to explore around Forest Park (ATV and Mountain Bikes are available for rental)

7.30 pm           BBQ night. Menu include fried rice and side dishes. Participants will have to do their own barbecuing as a family bonding activity.

 

 

24 November 2019, Sunday (breakfast, lunch)

 

8.00 am           breakfast and check out.

9.30 am           Activities with Orang Asli Che Wong. The Che Wong Tribes can only be found in Kuala Gandah only and not anywhere else in the entire Peninsula Malaysia.

Visit the Orang Asli settlement, learn a few words of the Che Wong tribe language and “Menyumpit” or blow pipe experience. The Orang Asli’s library is in need of some good children books and stationery, you may bring along these items to be donated to their library. Besides books, good condition preloved clothing for children are also accepted.
